Two Horses
Just up the road from my home is a field, with two horses in it. From a distance, each looks, like every other horse. But if you stop your car, or are walking by, you will notice something quite amazing. Looking into the eyes of one horse will disclose that he is blind. His owner has chosen not to have him put down, but has made a good home for him. This alone is amazing. If nearby and listening, you will hear the sound of a bell. Here is what happened this morning. I drove from my house in Butts County to the Conyers Municipal Court, pulling up in the parking lot just a minute or two late. well another day has been and gone, and things are getting easier. When you finially turn the tables on someone who is trying to bring you down and you don't even have to play dirty to get there. I've Done It
I have gone through and pared down my friends list and the list of people who I was fans of. Each list has about 19 or so people in it. If you're close enough to me that I consider you family, you didn't lose my friendship or my fan. Quite frankly, this has been nagging at me to be done. There were so many that I simply didn't hear from very often and I have things that keep me busy and therefore I don't get to everyone that was on my list of friends and fans. Well, I think it is almost a week away till the College world series and so today, since I had the day off from work, my dad had planned like a week ago to take me and the kids to the Henry Doorly Zoo. Making Incense (cones Or Sticks)
NEEDED: unscented incense sticks or cones your favorite oils DPG (diPropylene glycol) container to hold your incense rack for drying Mix your favorite oils. Normally you will mix 1/3 fragrance oil and 2/3 DPG (note: black smoke when burned means to much DPG) Soak unscented sticks in your blended oil, let sticks soak for at least 24 hours After soaking remove sticks and let dry for another 24 hours. Making Incense (oils)
NEEDED: Herbs to use Clean jar with a lid Carrier oil: sweet almond, jojoba, safflower Crush herbs with your hands and pack them loosely into the jar Pour the oil into the jar and fill it to cover the herbs. Cover tightly and set aside in a warm place. The next day, strain the oil off the leaves and crush a new batch of herbs. Pack into the same jar with the strained oil. Top off with new oil, close jar and set aside in a warm place for a day. Repeat step 3 for the next 5 days On the last day pour it into smaller bottles and label them carefully. Camping Trip
Well peeps its been a fun time yesterday..Took a break and went camping for a change. Took my family and headed off to Lamp Modoc in modoc indiana.....have to say not a bad place actually..plenty there to do activities, golf, swimming etc....you know the basic stuff. Well after pitching camp getting things squared away the rest of the family went swimming for a while so i could finish things up fired up the grill and got lunch ready. What's For Dinner Tonight Kidd-o's
Chicken Vegetable Crockpot Recipe Ingredients 1/2 onion 8 cloves garlic 1 plum tomato 1/2 cup water 3 pounds boneless chicken breasts 1 bay leaf dash pepper tsp minced garlic 1/4 cup olive oil 1 Tbsp basil 1 zucchini 2 lb bag of broccoli / cauliflower / carrots Directions Cut up the onion, cloves and tomato into bite sized pieces. Mix them and the water in the bottom of the pot. Cut the chicken into quarters and add in. Mix in a bay leaf, dash of pepper, minced garlic and olive oil. Let sit for 4 hours on high. Add in zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots as desired. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook another 90 minutes. Note that if you want, you can add water and cream of chicken soup at the end to make it more of a 'rich chicken soup' than a stew! Makes 8 servings YUMM-O

I don't normally blog. Sometimes you meet someone who you believe will be in your life for a short time and think it will just be having some fun. When things turn out to be more it is purely amazing. Everyday Struggles
I have a hard enough time trying to be positive when things are going right. And an even harder time being happy with how I look. This extra weight is killing me and I know I do look different though most tell me I look fine. I don't get drinks bought for me at the bar anymore or compliments anymore. It isn't the same on the net cause well it is the net. It is hard to love when you feel like no one loves you and no one believes in you. Plus when nothing ever goes right and people keep telling you that you can't do anything right it is hard to believe you can. Son's Illness
Many of you may have noticed that I am not on much here lately and I just wanted to give you a brief update as to why. My son has been very seriously ill and has been in and out of the hospital here lately with various very severe sicknesses that have had to be monitored by medical staff so I have not been home very often, my life has sort of become the hospital and being with my son. He has been through a great deal of tests poor thing. At 2 1/2 yrs old he has been in the doctors more than many people I know have been in 30 years. Bear with me and know that I am still here, just very occupied with getting my son better. The tests for the major diseases like Sickle cell anemia and all the cancers and such have come back negative and we are waiting to find out the results of something called Fabry's disease .. crossing my fingers it's not that either. Yay! I Didn't Puke!
That was pretty much the highlight of that interview. I didn't throw up on my hopefully soon to be boss. So you can imagine that the rest of it went pretty well. I got a tour of the place and all was well, took the train back home... ...and got piss drunk. Well...not piss...more like stumbly. My boyfriend and I decided to hit up Open Bar with a bunch of our friends. Think Martini Lounge with a large group of 21 year olds drinking like crazy for 2 hours. I'm Against Home Schooling. Here's Why...
I know that America's public education system leaves a lot to be desired. That's me being nice about it. I don't say this because I was a product of that education system. I was Catholic school educated for 15 years. I say this because I am a working member of the Public School System. Perhaps I would have done better in college if I had been home schooled. Perhaps if I just studied I would have done better, but would I really? What if I were home schooled? Ok, so maybe if I were home schooled I would have that full attention to detail laid on me. I wouldn't be in a crowded room full of undiciplined children running around as if the school were nothing more than a glorified day care. I would have focus. I would be able to make awesome grades. I would be ready for the class room at the next level. But there would be something missing that I would so terribly need-social skills. This Is Just Too Funny Not To Tell.
Ok, now for the record, I had to admit that this was completely off the wall. My ex, who has finally taken the hint that I don't want to be bothered, apparently shaved his head last night. I can tell you that I have seen pictures with his head shaved. and it doesn't look right on him. Of course, he never looked as cute either. But then again it doesn't bother me, since I am not with him. I just think it's the funniest thing that he has shaved his head and thinks he looks cute.
