Weekend Stuff So Far...
Having a good weekend so far, but they always are with David. Last night we stopped at Wal Mart for some things, went to Circuit City to look at digital cameras, and then to eat. We stopped at a place open 24 hrs a day.. a diner with great food. Had pancakes, bacon and home fries. :) We both ate way too much. Came home and played a computer game.. runescape. in case you don't know already i am a solo musican. that means i do it all myself. i am working on a new album at this time titled "BORN AGAIN" it will have 13 new songs. i write my pwn stuff and play all the requried instraments. this album is the 3 album i have done under the band name FIVE MINS TILL MELTDOWN. i have been in a few full bands in the past however i like doing my solo stuff do to i have total control over how the songs come out. i have been doing solo work since 1992 and i believe i have writin at least 10 great songs that would be in the top 10 charts. i play my guitar mostly in d tune. i will keep you up to date on the prossess of this album.

Sad Day
It started off with me fighting with my hubby at work when i went to work this morning well Friday morning and then i burnt my cookies well over cooked them. So i was in a crabby mood all day. After work I thought I would do something nice for myself since my birthday is this Sunday which is February the 11th. I got my hair cut and eyebrows done made me feel good . When I recieved the painted cat photos yesterday from my Aunt I couldn't believe that people would actually do that to their cats. I love cats, I believe though they should look like cats, not clowns and certainly not to be colored. Cats have a natural beauty. If you would not paint your face to look like a clown and go around like that all your life why should your cat. Three random thoughts to end the working day: 1) When I left the house to go to work this morning, I saw that someone had built a tiny snowman on the bonnet of my car. I tried to drive so it didn't fall off, but it didn't last long. Made smile though. 2)Just listened to Lynard Skynard on my playlist, but my work computer plays things too fast. Iowa Class Battle Ships
Please take a moment and view the new photos I've posted under "Battle Ships". The North Carolina is prior to the Iowa Class and not quite as modern or fast. There were only four Iowa Class Battle Ships: The USS Iowa-BB-61, USS New Jersey BB-62, USS Missouri BB-63 and USS Wisconsin BB-64. These ships all go back to the 1094's and were built for the 2nd World War. There has never been nor will there ever be a more graceful dreadnought. They each were very fast and deadly. There firepower was tremdous. President Reagan brought then out of retirement and retro fitted each of the four in the '80's!! They each continued in service throughout the 1990's. They are now out of service but we as tax payers got our money's worth!!

Up Date On My Daughter London
Hello thanks for reading this. Well, London had surgery about a month ago. They didn't do what they planned on and left her with another open wound not much different than it was when she first was injured. She is healing but slowly. Her life as well as mine are on hold until the wound heals. They won't do her knee surger to replace it until the wound heals because of the risk of infection. In the mean time I am packing it twice daily so I can keep it clean and hopefully will heal quicker this time. It has been 8 months since her accident and seems like a lot longer. I am frustrated and a bit po'd that they didn't do what they had planned to do or told us that they were doing. I had her at the emergency room yesterday with an infection. She is on medication now and the infection should clear fairly quickly. Between caring for her and work I haven't been on here much. They are messing with my schedule and I am on a 7 day stretch. Okay so, I work in Martinez on Alhambra St. Alhambra is a fairly busy street with tons of stores and always busy with cars. I got my job at Safeway in the beginning of January. Since i have goten my job and been commuting.. I have seen.. 10 turkeys walking down the side of Alhambra in a group... just walking along... which was really odd..or so i thought.. about 2 weeks later.. i was on my way home from work.. when i suddenly see this HUGE... and i mean HUGE.. black COW walking down the middle of the friggin street (on the opposite side thank god)!!! lol. so i called the Martinez police department..the lady was friggin hysterical.. lol.. she was like "a cow? on alhambra?" and was cracking up laughing...LOL then... like 2 or 3 days ago.. in the morning.. i was driving along.. and a deer ran right in front of my car... so wtf is next?!?!?!?! lol... its gettin way too weird...LOL.. all these strange animals just running loose in Martinez... its not even a farm community..LOL

The Perils Of Online Collaboration
As I have been working with people all over the place which is great, there is a downside to this, as you find people to work with quite fast they have a habit of disappearing just as fast without any word. Some people stick around and its good fun but others just disappear off the face of the planet. It can be very frustrating especially as you can get quite close to people, anyhoo just wanted you to be aware of one of the perils there are a lot of others too but will save that for another time.

This is political, yet very much affects Pagans & Wiccans. The Department of Veterans Affairs is accepting comments about their new regulations for approving religious symbols as emblems of faith for vets' tombstones. It is in the congressional record. Comments must be sent to the VA by March 20th. You do not have to be a veteran to make a comment. There are several new clauses which would make it harder for Pagans to get approval of the Pentacle (and eventually other symbols too). This includes demanding that a congregation have a set membership, in a specific location. There are several oblique references to symbols that might have an "adverse impact" on others, or which might be offensive. Back From Work
Just came home from work and... no bruisings today!!! Thanks ex-sniper for crossing your fingers *wink*. LOL My colleague is such a sweetheart. I did a lot of administration for him (updating care plans for our patients) and he bought me cigarettes and I may begin 1 1/2 hour later tomorrow morning! Thats what I call: teamwork, cooperation, etc. LOL Sorry, I just enjoy my job *smile*. We always have so much fun!

My Future Veterinarian!
Scarlett (my 13 yr old daughter) had to do a job shadow as a class project. So I helped her find the phone numbers to the local veterinarians and she started her search. One of our local vets agreed and she went in today for her job shadowing. She loved it so much that she asked if there were any volunteer spots open. The doctor gave her the opportunity so she has to be at his office for the next 2 Saturdays at 8 am. If she shows up on time then he will give her more hours and he will make her a "technician in training"!! I am so proud of her!!

Today, no emo blog… just a thought. You ever notice that you never have time for the things you want to do, And when you get that time you need, you use it up on trivial things like… the interweb? There are things I’d love to do, like write more, draw more, learn some photo shop, do something productive… but the only time I have the fire and energy to do anything is when I’m at work doing the blue collar grind. Im 30 days away from having my shoulder rebuilt and honestly scared as hell. I have talked to a few people who have had the surgery they say I need and have been told not to have it. To tell you all the situation, I tore my Rotator Cuff playing football five years ago. That is the group of muscles that keep your shoulder functioning properly.
