A Heart Felt Thanks To The Many Supporters
As I am new to this type of webspace and working hard to understand the ins and outs of what goes on here, I have had the pleasure of meeting some really fantastic folks. Though my internet access is somewhat limited and hard to browse through, I have noted that many of the folks on here have special sections and areas for the troops overseas. As I am one of the troops overseas I want to send out a very heartfelt thankyou to all that have shown us the love and support that we have needed to carry on. I have had the joy of meeting new friends here and hope to encounter many more as time goes. I enjoy conversing with all types of folks, and try not to make things too serious. I look forward to getting back to a real internet operation soon so I can continue to meet the outstanding people here. I Should Have Stayed Sore
America, I am sick of recovering. What I find amazing, is that, even though I had major surgery...nobody really cares anymore. Don't get me wrong. The friends I have online check up on me every day. They see how I'm feeling, making sure I'm walking and taking care of my diet (high blood sugar), and making me feel good about myself. But the people around me physically, don't really give a shit. I mean they do, but for as much as they're around me...you'd think they could do a little more. Nobody visits. My one friend was on vacation my first week, and he was over almost every day. It was great, and I'm very appreciative of it. The drunken neighbor even stopped by, and lent me "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" seasons. But since then, nobody. To all my friends and family here on FUBAR I thank you.....I logged on tonight because once again I couldnt sleep and I found my inbox so full of love that I was overwhelmed to tears by it. In this day and age to see so many people open up their hearts with thoughts of love and prayers sent it has truly renewed my faith in God. i am not a stranger to cookies. rofl My mom has always made a no bake cookie that she has passed on to me and i think that they are so decadant and yummy. 1 large box of plain graham crackers 1 large packet of coconut 1 large packet of pecans or walnuts (your choice) 1 bag of confectioners sugar one 12 to 16 ounce jar of peanut butter and melted butter mix all ingredients together except for the butter add the butter a little at a time until there is enough to make this mixture hold together when squeezed into a ball shape. make all the balls and then you will need a double boiler in the double add 1 bar of gulf wax its found in the canning section of the grocery store it is used to make the chocolate harden on the balls when they are dipped add 2 large bags of chocolate chips and allow it to melt together with the wax and dip the balls into the chocolate and place on wax paper and allow to harden (about 2 or 3 minutes) it doesn't take long and they are ready to e

So, I just realized that the TSO show at The Mark (Iwireless Center) is tomorrow night at 8. Tickets are fairly cheap, so if any lovely lady would like a date to a good show - let me know. 30th Birthday Bash

I really dont think any better options than a few old school circle pits are going to come up, and it'll be a blast to hang out with Team Chicago and see what kind of Power Drinking we can do for my thirtieth. Funny thing is, all of us have retired from power drinking, so it'll most likely be an extremely painful event! So yeah, everyone is invited to the Congress Theater on 3.28.09 for BLS/7Dust. The Legend
So, with everything going on in my life - I failed to remember that this past monday was the fourth anniversary of Dime's murder. I can remember like it was yesterday, hanging out backstage in Cedar Rapids, IA on the Real Steel Tour. Dime was so stoked that I was the only street team member in attendance that he basically forced me to stand next to him for forty five minutes while he signed autographs. Putting Coors Light after Coors Light into my hands. I bet I drank six or seven of them while Dime was doing his thing. He was easily the most down to earth, genuine person I have met in my entire life. What you saw was what you got. I remember the anger I felt when I heard Dime had been killed. My roommate when I was living in Chicago called me at work and told me the news. I worked third shift, and couldnt really work the rest of the night. I am a divorced mother of a seven year old boy. The area I live in used to thrive on the steel industry, until foreign steel took over the market. This area now depends on a a single industry-the auto industry. It has since the late 60's. Every company in this area depends on this one factory for their revenue. We have about 5,000 workers in the plant alone (for now) and probably another 5-10,000 jobs that rely directly on this plant. If the US auto industry is left to fall, it would mean the demise of this entire area. 1. Preparation
I've been trying to ready my house, my children, and myself for the upcoming deployment. I will be leaving for Iraq in January. I've barely heard anything from my sweetheart in the last few weeks, they have had him on some kind of mission. His mission needs to be coming home! Oh, but that's not what we do in the military. Hurry up and wait, and everything changes. Due to issues working things with my chain of command, it looks like he wont be in Iraq with me, and due to the changes, he may not even be back before I leave. It sounds difficult, and in some ways it is (I am going to miss him even more than I do now.) I know that we can make it, though. I actually posted a mumm in March, not expecting answers but advice, and decided then that I would wait for him. Now that we are a couple, and a good one at that, I know I can with no hesitation. I trust him implicitly to do the same. It is amazing that I've never in my life been more sure of something than I am of him and us.

So, lots of people put lots of photos up for other people to rate, and a bunch of them even go into the top photos stuff making them even more prominent for other people to look at. So how are you going to get pissed and run off rating people badly out of spite and leaving prickish comments just because they didn't like all your photos? If you didn't want them rated or can't take a bad rating or two, your photos don't need to be up there. There'd be no point in ratings if everyone just gave you the max rating, and you'd never really know what anyone actually thought about your pictures. Life These Days(update)
well folks, it's almost that time of year again! CHRISTMAS IS HERE!!!! but anyway, my lil angl is getting bigger and bigger everyday. i'm almost ready to take the GED test i have worked to take for 5 years now. i am so excited. plus in march, my lil angel will turn a year old. it's hard to believe how fast time has flown by. i love being a mom and everything that comes with it. Becca now has 5 teeth and is eating solid food. i gotta go out today and get her a sippy cup whandles so she can actually hold it. my mom is doing sooo much better these days and it makes me happy. i want her to be able to see Becca grow like her mom did with me. and another thing that is hard for me to believe is that my grandmother has been dead for 6 yrs on the 21st. there are times i wish she was still alive so she could meet Bcca face to face, BUT i am glad that she is no longer in any pain and doesn't have to worry about anything anymore. anyways, that's enough of my babbling for now. There is one Christmas Carol that has always baffled me. Poor Kid
Just got back from spending three days in the hospital with my son Tommy. He had symptoms of meningitis. Fever, stiff neck. There had been two cases in this county in the past month. Poor kid had to have a spinal tap, IV, blood cultures. Test concluded it wasn't meningitis, just a virus, thank God. Tommy was in a very grumpy mood our last hours there. Not even early Christmas presents could cheer him up. He was all ready to go and we had been waiting for the discharge. Tom was beside me when I signed the paper work and he kicked the nurse! He was ready to go! I told him of course it was not nice to kick people. But I still had to keep from laughing. He had to get a little payback. LOL

Associated Press December 11, 2008 LOS ANGELES - Bettie Page, a 1950s pinup model who helped set the stage for the 1960s sexual revolution, has died. She was 85. Her agent Mark Roesler says Page died Thursday night at a Los Angeles hospital after suffering a heart attack nine days ago. He says she never regained consciousness. Page attracted national attention with magazine photographs of her sensuous figure in bikinis and see-through lingerie that quickly were tacked up on walls across the country. Her photos included a centerfold in the January 1955 issue of then-fledgling Playboy magazine, as well as controversial sadomasochistic poses. Chaos Of My Life
I sit here so late in the night, or early in the morning as some might see it, because I cant sleep. I am plagued with nightmares and aches and pains that wont go away. I know from my pictures I seem like a happy go lucky person, surrounded by her friends. But inside no one sees the pain that I am in. I put on a fake smile. The Marriage
2008 didn't start out so well. I remember not being able to find my husband at midnight. I think he had gone back to our house by himself (it was basically a neighborhood free-for-all that night) and found some 19 year old boy to corrupt with bad whiskey. Will Be Married On December 16th
On Tuesday, December 16-2008 me and Shawn will be getting married..We have been together a year and he has been wonderful to me..he has been emotionally and financially supporting me and my children...he's a wonderful father to my boys and I love him so very much!!
