Episode 77
Last night was a blast of a show. Only the third live show ever on the Hellcast Radio Network, we had a blast as my cohost was Nightshade last night. The rounds were flying cuz 15 mins into the show, we were all 100% buzzed, lol. The Emotes were discovered by Mamma Helle, and then the whole room got into the act. Nightshade and Mchgn started carrying the show to the gay side, and then you could tell the beer was flowing free. There were 6 in the chatroom and they all had a good time. Then, on cam, but not in the room, Strega was doing dirty deeds with sex toys for the hosts of the show. By the End, the hosts were smashed and then the religious wisdom came. Then our aftershow covered another 2 hrs, and we brought 5 onto the phone lines with a surprise caller we havent heard in about 4 weeks. Caa #62 - Update #1
Quick update on this darling little girl. First I got her name wrong (multitasking did this) her name is Rosa Gail. She is 6 lbs., but her lungs are not fully developed. The doctors said this was what was causing the shortness of breath and is normally seen in really small birth-weight babies. They are thinking that the lungs should develope over the next 3 days to 2 weeks. They will keep her on the feeding tube during this time and keep monitoring her closely. The Great Aunt told me to tell everyone thank you and God Bless you. Will keep everyone updated as I hear more.

A Monumental Decision
Well, I made a monumental decision today. I am moving to the same town my son and mother lives in. It's about an hour from me. I won't be moving until mid February,but it makes more sense. I will see Justin and Blake more and I'll be closer to my mother. She needs that right now. So do I. It will also be better for me financially. Cost of living is cheaper there. I told them today. They are so excited...lol It's a sound decision.

Losing
I can't do this anymore.. I am losing my mind :( I bought a car on Thanksgiving, the fucking thing broke down the next day. The bastard I bought it from (some one I worked with for a few years) will not answer his phone and keeps coming up with excuses. Depression
Kinda feeling down lately..gets that way around this time. I have heard of many people who lose someone around this time..you would think we would all be depressed. Anyways..couple years ago my grandma who was also my best friend in life..died day after Christmas. Was hard to deal with. Now my uncle is down with pancreatic cancer. He just found out a month ago..and it seems to be bad right off the beginning. He isn't able to eat or drink..and has went from 140lbs to 125lbs. They been trying to get things arranged.. making him a no code..etc. Hes only 59. Well he was admitted to pallative care in the hospital 2 nites ago. Thats a room where they make you and your family comfortable while patient is dying. Not sure if other hospitals have a room like that or not. First time I ever really dealt with this kinda dying. My husband is getting better with each day. Each morning you can hear the difference in his speech. He goes to the speech therapist tomorrow again and the testing should improve. He is very lucky. He is at home now and he had a brain stem stroke and he is not on a ventilator. The doctors are amazed how good he is when he had brain stem stroke. He is to have a MRA tomorrow morning, a special MRI which only looks at the blood flow in his brain and neck. He is not bad for someone that died on me while in ER. He repeats the alphabet and counts to 10 all the time is workings his letters. The difficulty is getting the words to his mouth...there is no connection, The speech therapist says he is amazed at how well he is doing for being a brain stem stroke. He is very, VERY lucky that he can walk, talk and even reason he should be dead... he is supposed to be near 100% from what the drs. are saying ... from what he is read on internet he is very lucky.

The Events Of The Week And My Thoughts
The events of the last week since I got the call have been very hectic and very emotional for all involve to say the least. It started with the call Monday morning from my dad saying that my beloved grandfather had passed away. Wednesday I flew out to go home…what welcoming faces to see at the arrivals in the airport. How To Dance In The Rain
It was a busy morning, about 8:30, when an elderly gentleman in his 80's arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He said he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. While taking care of his wound, I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. My life is changing dramatically....Yesterday marked the 1 week since my husband walked out on me and my kids. We have been lost and searching for answers since he left. Therapy Session: Hugs
As people have pointed out when I've hugged them goodbye, I sometimes tend to do it way too hard. It's not exactly uncommon for people to tell me to let go. Usually with words to the effect of, "That hurts." And I usually apologize a little about that. It's usually not my intent to hurt people when I hug them. I generally only hug family members and friends who request it. I generally minimize physical contact where I can. I wave hello just by holding up my hand after all. Most of my friends refer to it as saying, "How." And a lot of the time, it feels like an obligation with family so I don't really enjoy it that much. If I'm somewhere because it's expected of me and not somewhere I eagerly am, I'd rather just leave without any ceremony. Most of the time when I hug friends it's completely voluntary. So hubbs and I went to Cockbuster and got a movie- Moscow Zero. Last month, a former colleague invited me to join her Feminist Book Club. I cringed. And then accepted her invitation. First day of Impaired Driver Intervention Program. Or IDIP for short. It went fabulously. Of course, going in with a bad attitude didn't help. I know. But it was a little hard for me to muster up the positivity. I tried. It just wasn't there. Nonetheless, I pulled up a chair and readied myself. I'd just have to suck it up if I want my license back. The teacher straight ahead of me, eyeballs me like I'd robbed her mother. There's an old man sitting next to me with shaky hands. Evidently in need of an alcoholic beverage. The class begins and I hear nothing but crap spitting forth from the instructors' mouths. They inform me, how they are not here to judge me or even to assess me. Rather how they would like me to simply assess my own personal relationship with alcohol. Of course, I know that at the end I will be graded. The fate of my license will be in their final assessment. Thanksgiving--another One Bites The Dust
A holiday that should have been enjoyable and memorable, a completely genuine and innocent invitation turned into a childish need for attention and acceptance, a friendship built from shoutbox and pm conversations around shared hurt and hopeful compassion leaving nothing but a bitter taste in my pixeled mouth. Its sad when a person tries to reach out a hand and make somebody else's life just a little bit better, a person who only wants another to smile and know they are cared for then gets slapped in the face with that same intention. As some of my true friends may know last year at Thanksgiving i lost my brother to suicide. It was an extremely heartbreaking experience for me as it would have been to anyone who had lost someone they loved. Long ago back when I still went to UCSD, I had a friend called David. He went to SDSU and was about the most fun person I knew in San Diego. He was one of those guys that saw things in life differently than the way they really are. It was always so fun being around him. One day, he and I go to Seaport Village because he heard that there is an Ice Cream Shop that has a big Ice Cream at the entrance that is bigger than I am. I didn't believe him, as usual, so, we went. Well, there it was. The biggest Ice Cream Cone I ever saw. He tells me, "Go ahead, Hitomi. Dad In Hospital
Well I was going to stay away for some "me" time, but I need my friends and their prayers. Dad was taken to the hospital this morning with chest pains. I can't even talk about it really without starting to choke up. My dad is my hero, my best friend, the person I look to for strength. I don't know what I would do without him. They are not sure yet if it was a heart attack, the tests will show that. He will be in until Monday at least. Please keep him in your prayers. As for me.... I'm struggling a bit. Running a business in this economy is hard. I was stymied what title to use that didn’t sound condescending or confusing … it’s one thing I have to learn and I like to think I’m applying when I write. Certainly last month’s entry into National Novel Writing Month that I titled “Litany” qualifies. I wrote this from two characters’ points of view and if it were read out loud it would be analogous to a responsive reading; in church, this is where the pastor or speaker reads a blessing or Scripture and the congregation responds. Maybe I am being foolish, but I am finding out that I do not have as many good friends here on Fubar as I thought. I posted a bulletin and changed my status to show that my grand kids were missing, or at least 2 of them. I have had a few friends let me know their thoughts and prayers were with me and my family. Some have just not been online yet, and have no idea. What surprises and hurts, is that there are alot of people I thought were friends who have been here and not even bothered to say anything. The Great Fubar Social Experiment
Obviously, a large portion of many persons' time on FUBAR is spent trying to make it to another level. Of course there's nothing wrong with that...I mean, if you like seeing 'r/f/a' on every profile you run into, or if 'ez rates' and 'auto 11's on' gives you a tingle. All in all, though, I've never given too much thought to it all. The part I don't understand is the people buying gift blasts or happy hours or bling for those at the oracle, disciple, or even prophet level! I'm trying to understand why someone would spend real money on a person who has obviously reached the uppermost levels on this site. Shouldn't it be the other way around? Hey crew: We have a small percentage of people having problems with credit cards and purchases for: bling, vip, blasts, HH's, etc. The problem is USUALLY associated to GIFT or PAY AS YOU GO Visa/MC debit card. For example: Walmart Gift Visa, Walgreens Gift Visa, TMobile Gift Visa, the list goes on. Some of you have a CC that is a pay as you go. The problem we are having is that our merchant account has NO way to verify the security of the card user. Because of this, the card is denied. So, if you do not enter the correct phone number, mailing address, security code or 3 digit pin on the back, you will be declined and get an error message. This can ALSO happen with normal credit cards in some cases. What will happ is your card is charged and shows a PENDING AUTHORIZATION on your card and it appears your funds have been removed. So I've been getting laid off occasionally since last March. Seperated from hubby around May, and have been paying all the bills that we had before he moved out on my own, or at least attempting to. Yesterday
Went to the neurologist and we saw the MRI for first time. We saw where the stoke took place. It was in his brain stem. He passed all of his tests. Also went to the speech therapist for the first time. My husband is going to be challenged that is for sure by the speech therapist. He is so lucky that he did not die. I am luck that he did not die. He is scheduled for a MRA on Monday also he is going back to the speech therapist. Will report more later.

Coming Home
Well got an email from my step brother Brian he is on his way home from over seas his frist stop was Germany for about 2 hours then on to Ierland then go to Maine then on his way home to Washington back home in Oak Harbor. I am soo glad I got to hear from him that he is on his way home. I know his dad who i live with along with my mom will be very happy and excited to hear that he will be home sometime between 2:30 and 3 am late saturday which is in our time will be around 5 ish in the morning. Yes,the dogs name is Scooby Doo. he looks and acts like him too. I don't know what this dogs deal is lately,but he wont leave me alone. recently I made some comments about and said somethings to a very dear friend of mine that were mean and cruel. Some were because I was mad and the other was because I was teasing. I found that the things that you say can be more,..no a lot more hurtful than I may have ever entended my words to be. 1st when I was hurt I became a ASS and said some very mean things that really hurt my friends feelings. 2nd the teasing was never meant to be hurtful but looking back I can see where I did hurt my friend. My friends I have learned a very vauleable lesson that I should have already known. Choose your words very carefully because you can,may and will hurt the ones you love and care about. Old Age, I decided, is a gift I am now, probably for the first time in my life, the person I have always wanted to be. Oh, not my body! I sometime despair over my body, the wrinkles, the baggyeyes, and the sagging butt. And often I am taken ab ack by that old person that lives in my mirror (who looks like my mother/father!), but I don't agonize over those things for long.. I would never trade my amazing friends, my wonderful life, my loving family for less gray hair or a flatter belly. As I've aged, I've become more kind to myself, and lesscritical of myself. I've become my own friend. I don't chide myself for eating that extra cookie, or for not making my bed, or for buying that silly cement gecko that I didn't need, but looks so avante garde on my patio. I am entitled to a treat, to be messy, to be extravagant. I have seen too many dear friends leave this world too soon; before they understood the great freedom that comes with aging. My battle with weight started in grade school; as early as 5th or 6th grade I was overweight. That is when, I remember, I had to go shopping with my mom in the "husky" section for school clothes. As a junior in high school, my weight hit 225 and I went on my first official diet. This would be the first of many diets that I would follow in the years to come. None were the lifestyle change that I needed to make--the total change that included exercise, good food choices, portion control and the mental change that I needed to make to turn my life around and become the healthy person that I needed, and wanted, to be. In the Fall of 2006, my weight had made me very depressed and miserable. I rarely went out and clothes shopping was something I tried to avoid at all costs.
