Sunday, April 16, 2007 Had a bad night last night. Watched "Flip That House". Ty Pennington was keeping a promise to a cancer victim. His cancer was much more severe than Jerry's. The man on tv was diagnosed with some sort of melanoma and died 5 months later. They were looking forward to the restorations to the house when he was diagnosed and it took his savings. Man, the world is filled with stupid people. I used to think that I was merely a bitter person and viewed everyone with disdain. Competed down in Monroe, LA this past weekend and had my best meet thus far. For those that don’t know, the AAPF (Amateur American Powerlifting Federation) is a drug-free (drug-tested) federation. 8 out of my 9 lifts were good. Squatted 589.73, Benched 429.9, and Deadlifted 556.66. Totaled 1576.29lbs at a bodyweight of 163lbs. Earned an invite to the AWPC Worlds Competition this August in IL. All the numbers were personal records for me. I went into this meet relaxed which, I think, made a difference. I get some time to recoup, get a little work going and then start training again for August.

Well this weekend, or first of next week I will have my new living room set delivered to me. I went to Scott Allans furniture here in town and I went in and got what I needed for a decent deal I must say, and plus an awesome surround sound 5 disc brand new stereo system. Thank God It's Over
Exhausting, is all I can say about the last week. Between driving all night to Ohio on a days notice, catching a cold from the temp change, sitting up till 7 when Ryan Finally came back from Detroit (Yeah I know that’s in Michigan). But the hotel was stayed at was in Ohio. Driving back home on only 4 hours of sleep, and having to juggle around an already full weekend and work load b/c old chuck passed on. So we get back home, and I have to wrap the presents for Annie’s and Gabe’s (Jennifer & Casey’s Boy) Birthday parties which are Saturday and Sunday. So I spend half the day Saturday doing laundry and cleaning since the cats have to stay in the house while we’re out of town. So there is towels on the floor, candles tipped over, Pictures of the walls, and cat toys tucked in the bed, my shoes, scattering the floor, and piled in the sink. My New Dog
So...I have recently acquired a new dog by the name of Cujo, which I have to feed from a distance, cause every time I get near the stupid thing he starts jumping up on me and humping my leg. Low and behold my daughter lets him loose he runs in the house, grabs a pillow off the couch and proceeds to have sex with it!!! I think he even tried to have sex with my cat!! OMFG!!! Yesterday, I was here on CT with this. It stayed on my mind all day. I went to sleep and woke up to it's aftermath. It's so senseless. From an investigative standpoint how can anyone from Virginia Tech take two hours to "lockdown" the campus. Why should it take two hours to alert the students and say "Take cover. We have an extreme situation. There is a gunman on campus." Maybe it's just my thinking, but a lot of the deaths that have occured could have and should have been prevented. A Personal Update
As some of you know I had surgery yesterday. I am very sore today. I am not sure how long I can stay on here at a time without the pain being unbearable. I just want to apologize for not being here and not bombing as I usually do. I was diagnosed with Adenomyosis which is internal uterine endometriosis. My uterus is also very enlarged (Double its normal size). I am not sure when but I am going back in for another surgery for a Hysterectomy. I need to heal so my time on here will be less. I apologize for not being here for family contests and such. I will be on here and there and try to keep in touch with all of my friends and family on here. I am also being tested for bladder disease/cancer. So I dont know if that will require another surgery or if they will do it all at once if something is found wrong with my bladder. I met my mom at Old Navy yesterday after work. Woohoo!!! I got 2 new shirts! After I left there I was happily driving along when I came to a point in the road where my lane ended and I had to merge left. I turned to check my blind spot. Update On My Uncle
Well this morning I recieved the call at 6:20am that my uncle had passed away in his sleep at 4:30am. Its weird how you know you are going to get that call cause you seem to be awake before the phone rings. It was exactly like the phone call we got when my dad passed away. I wont be able to get home for the wake and funeral so in June I will say my goodbye's to him then. I'm planning on drinks and drunkeness tonight so if you wanna party its at my place :) At least he is no more pain and he is with his wife who he missed greatly after she died 2 years ago. Losing My Pa Again!

Yes, I have a Personal Assistant (PA), who's job it is to try and organise my working life and provide administrative support to my team. Has anyone else been hit with this yet? I wait almost 15 seconds between rating photos, blogs, etc. and I get the message that I'm flooding the server and that I'm banned for 10 minutes. What gives? I know that it was supposed to hit for under 3 seconds, but (let's do the math on this one...) 15 seconds is 5 times longer. How in the world can I be flooding the server by rating every 15 seconds, that's 4 rates a minute, as opposed to the 20 rates a minute that 3 seconds gives you. Oh well...

Getty Lucky Is A Good Thing.
I just want to say something here, as I just got home from hockey. We, as in athletes. We always grow up dreaming about that game winning home run, touch down catch, buzzer beater 3 pointer, and now the 170 foot short handed goal. Wayne Gretzky was once quoted "The only bad shot in hockey is the one you don't take" It was an ugly, or as I would like to think of as FUGLY, game. Our team started out flat, and the team we were playing was playing out of their asses. The ice was shitty, so the puck was not settling. It was just dying when you figure it was going to travel. Things just were happening were you would find yourself out of position, and stupid shit happening. We were off for two weeks coming into tonights game. They got to play Friday night. It helps to have played the week before. So we were really flat. So we scored the first goal, then they tied the game. Then we scored in the second period, and they scored again to tie it up. They were playing well.

Well, today was a short day believe it or not. I was on the set of the TV show 'Medium' starring Patricia Arquette. The guest star was Neve Campbell, I LOVE Her, I have since 'Scream' came out.
