A day in the life of a PC repairman... All in all, it hadn't been a good day. Bad traffic, a malfunctioning computer, an incompetent customer, and a sore back all made me a boiling, seething cauldron of rage. But more importantly for this day, it had been over forty-eight hours since I'd last taken a decent dump. A Great Day
As you could guess in my last blog I was very angry and passionate. I also wrote very badly, in the heat of the moment. But today was different. I had a job interview this morning, and I WOWed them. I got word this afternoon that I was hired. YEY. Being an 'older guy' I have had experience in interviewing, know business, and usually communicate very well. Except last night, of course, when I wrote with passion and poor form. I have been out of solid work for 21 months- almost 2 years. Now I must admit that smack in the middle of that was two surgeries, and recovery time, which accounted for about 7 months. Of course, as an IT (computer geek) type guy, I have had some consulting work in and around there, but not that much. I also had a 2 month job with a, let's call it, 'unique' employer, and he wasn't able to appreciate all I could do for him. But then in the larger scheme of things, it was something to do and earn some buck$ until my real job would find me, which it indeed did.

Today is a very sad day in the town i grew up in. My little sleepy country town turned red today as the blood of innocents flowed down the main street. Today two police officers where gunned down for no reason. Guns emptied into their bodies. This left wives widows , children fatherless. families to mourn for something that shouldnt have happened. Along with the officers two EMTS where gunned down. luckly for them and their families they lived. My town went on lock down for hours with a town in mourning. How does this happen in a little town. Yes I changed my mind and Im staying, again. Im just not going to be on here all that much. Mostly because I can't do anything for some reason. The only thing I can do is rate pics. Job Hunting Continues
Every once and a while I check out the wanted ads for job openings. Most of them are out of my range sadly :(. I really need to change jobs. I don't hate the poeple I work with or even the place. It's the time and pay i hate. I would love to work a nice 9-5 cubical job. That is what i prefer. Getting up at around 7 and going to work clocking out at 5 and going on my way for a $8 or $9 an hour. That would be a nice one. Either that or a nice job with training on entry level pc specialty. Today
Well today was another stressful day for me. I got up at 6:30 to have a yard sale. Made out alright money wise. Nerves wise, they're shot. Surgery Date......
I went to OSU on Monday, August 6th and seen the urologist. The nurse called today while I was at my dialysis treatment and left a message that my surgery to have this diseased kidney (which the dr. says weighs approx. 15#) is scheduled for Thursday, August 16th. I will be in the hospital approx. 7-10 days. Please keep me in your prayers. P.S. It sure would be nice to level up before I have to go on Wednesday evening. I've been in college since August 2003. I graduated high school May 2003. About 3 months later, I attended college. Since then, I've been in college. It's boring already. Update On My Ankle
Just got back home from the doctors. My ankle and foot have been very swollen and not getting any better since I sprained it last Sunday. I was trying to take care of it myself. Yesterday morning I woke up with my foot and ankle swollen even worse. I guess from walking on it so much! The doctor had ordered x-rays and sure enough she said it was a very bad sprain. Not broken though. :) She gave me what they call an aircast(looks like a splint) Unfortionatly she told me I might bave to wear it up to 8 weeks. Depending how I feel and when the swelling is down or gone. She said I probably won't have to wear it that long. But it depends. She said thats the maximum. I have to ice it for 15 mins at a time and keep it elevated as much as I can. And take Motrin at least 3 tablets 2 times daily. I Thought that was alot. But she said I can take up to 12 a day. *shrugs* So might not be at the computer as much for the time being!

After hearing the news of my friends two year old little girl drowning it has made me sit down and reflect a bit. A perfect little baby girl taken away so quickly. A family left distraught. With my deepest sympathy to my friends I also sit and wonder if I have told my children I love them enough and have given them enough hugs and kisses. I couldn't imagine one of my children being taken away from me and would not hope it for anyone. Even though I know that I am a good mother this brings a realization to me of how a persons life can be taken so quickly even that of a child. Counseling
So yeah I finally am done with counseling....my counselor,Karen,said that to have counseling I have to have a problem and seeing that my only problem is my anger,she said to do something creative or something time worthy(like a jigsaw puzzle) to help calm my nerves.The only reason I dont have to see her for my anger is cuz im not 'lashing out' or hitting other people...i hit objects.but yeah....its pretty freakin awesome....she did get annoying sometimes...lol.I do still have to see my psychiatrist but besides that...things are looking up.woo!

Mri And Going To The Beach
I had my MRI this morning, it sucked, but i managed not to freak out in the machine. Had to go to a piercing place yesterday and today to get my jewelry removed and put back in, so a good portion of my 20 some piercings are red and irritated. Drove home today, first time since the seizure. I did ok at first and then had to really concentrate on not freaking out. I did alot of singing out loud and concentrating on the words of the songs as i sang them, to keep my mind from flying through things. Hopefully sometime this week we will find out the results of the MRI. Tomorrow I leave for the beach for a week with my boyfriend and his family. Im nervous, but trying not to freak out. Im afraid im going to ruin things by freaking out, which is freaking me out. So im trying to stay calm and ive got a good stockpile of drugs to sedate me with if need be. i need to just try to go and relax. Everyone tries to tell me "just calm down" but its not that easy, sometimes, im not even stress

Stupid
WELL................. I've just come from standing in a ditch for thirty minutes while two DPS officers searched everything in my car. Mind you now, I am a white, 30 year old male driving around in a eclipse, for crap's sake. I got pulled over on a highway coming from all the county line liquor stores for doing 71 in a 65. Also, my back license plate light was out. They asked me to step out of the car, had me stand on the side of the road while they opened EVERYTHING I had in the car, including my bag of leftovers from having dinner at my Mom's house . They had me show them that I didn't have any pockets in the pants I have on and I had to show them I didn't have anything in my socks. I only got a warning for speeding and a ticket for expired inspection (my fault). The worst part of that was my excuse for it being expired. Honestly, my horn has a short in it and doesn't work most of the time. You can't get inspected if your horn doesn't work. I just haven't had time to take it

Let me start out with this statement. I honestly do no care who does not believe this story. Because it did happen. And it happened the way I am telling it. In A Mood Today
I must be in one heck of a mood today, and I hate days like this. I have too much time to think and when I do that I start worrying about everything in my life. I am counting the days until the monkeys go back to school so they will get back on a better routine. Something I can not wait for! During the summer they just have too much free time and time together to get on each other's nerves, meaning my son and my daughter. All in all my life is going great but unfortunately one thing I don't deal well with is any uncertain issues. I know there are things beyond my ability to help but it doesn't mean I have to like it. Sometimes I will think something is wrong when nothing is. According to my mother, if I'm not 100% stressed out then I don't know to function. Still Learning About Autism
AUTISM AWARENSS I'm still learning about autism. I have 5 kids, two of which are diagnosed with having autism. Anyone have any stories to share? My 10yr old didn't starting learning to speak until after he turned 3yrs old. My 4 1/2yr old daughter really doesn't talk at all other than a word here and a word there. She knows some sign language and was showing very similar mannerisms that my 10yr old did at around 2yrs, and that's how I suspected she was autistic too. They both are very high-functioning however.

Price Of Gasoline
Today I was at the gas station and a guy in line was nagging the cashier about the price of gas. It's $2.75 a gal. here. He was paying for a sport drink which was $1.49. I asked him if he knew how much that drink cost by the gallon at that price....he had no clue. I told him that at $1.49 for a 20 oz bottle....he is paying over $9.00 a gallon! To 'bomb' you just need to post as many comments as you can per your level. The higher your level, the more comments you can leave on a picture or whatever. All Fusion Dj's And Staff
We are soooo frustrated right now with the DJ's not showing up for their shift. Until now, we have both been understanding and just letting it slide. However, going forward 08/11/07 it will not slide anymore. If you miss and you cannot at the very least let someone know you will not be here, you will no longer be DJ'ing. I am sorry it has come to this point, however, it is not fair to either of us nor to your fellow DJ's. In addition to showing up or letting someone know u cannot make it, if you are DJ'ing you MUST be in the lounge. When Dave or Lori are DJing we are always in the lounge and it's the very least you can do to help make the people who do show up feel welcome and have someone to chat with. We have personally witnessed ppl coming into the lounge and no one being in to welcome them and them turning around and leaving. Well Next month is my birthday and I LOATHE my birthday with a passion. This makes me think of my favorite book, Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. Jonathan was certainly independent. He lived by his own rules, he learned and grew beyond the expectations of society, because he felt compelled to do so. He followed his heart, and he later became a teacher, passing his wisdom on to younger generations seeking inspiration. Why be content to walk, or even run, when it is in us to soar? We get to make the choice because we are independent thinkers.

today, dason n I got up at 6am n went up to my cousin kristy's to have a yardsale, which sucked because i only made $7, but kristy did pretty well. Sad At The Moment
For those of you that know me, and know what I do for a living know I have a pretty stressful job. I just received a phone call concerning one of my clients. In the short time she has been in my office, I recognize her by her voice on the phone just saying hello. She's so full of life and energy. You would not know by looking at her that she is in stage 4 cancer. It is terminal and the doctors have called in Hospice for the six months to a year left in her life. She has gotten sick with her treatments and does not see the point of continuing them with no chances of recovery. She instead intends to live as much of her life as possible before she loses this battle. I will think of her and keep her in my prayers so that what time she does have is not painful and that she can enjoy her life.

Well today was quite the usual day. I woke up in a frenzy knowing i was going to be stressed by the time things were said and done. I went to the university bookstore today to buy my books and was floored when i saw the total for my books. I only had to get 5 total books this semester. Visual Basic 2005, Survey to calculus, two books for Intro to ethics, and Business law. So all in all it was only 5 books but the total for them, even as i had gotten USED BOOKS was a $491 bill. So I pay the bill knowing I am already in the hole and barely making ends meet. Next thing that happens is I get home to see email. This being the $3,000 dollar bill for my semester tuition that is now due. Putting me further back into debt and unable to even buy a blast here. I do what any good willed and living person does who is trying to further their education and make something of themselves but all too often others just never seem to care or want to help someone in an area that is supposed to be for

I work in admitting at a local hospital. I'm all by myself at my station right now. I was just sitting back down from disposing of some paperwork from a patient who was still at my desk, when another patient barked his last name at me. I had no chance to greet them, like I ALWAYS, I repeat ALWAYS do. Well as im checkin the patient in his son asks me "Doesn't it occur to you so say hello when a patient comes up to your desk?"
