Smaller Venues
seeing bands in a large venue or arena is one thing, but the shows are so much better in a small crowd @ the local pub. last night i went to "divebar" (that's the name of the place). paid five bucks at the door and got to see voodoo glow skulls, bareknuckle, knockout, & murder majesty. the pit was maybe like 6 or 7 people. no fights broke out. everyone was just there to have fun. i spent a good amount of time drinking steel reserve in the parking lot. when it was over, i got 3 autographs on the sleeve to VGS first album 'who is this is' and met some cool people out of riverside. i'm telling you, last time i saw that band it was in this big, packed, all ages venue and nowhere near as cool as last night.

Abby My Puppy
I just got back from the vet's office with Abby. She weighs 7.7 lbs now. Two weeks ago, she weighed in at 5.6 lbs. She is really growing fast and has a healthy appetite. Getting Back On Track.....
The days by the beach are getting hotter. I'm thankful next week is supposed to be cooler. Many of us by the beach don't have AC so at times you go to the beach to be cooled. The wrist is healing well and I'm starting to condition myself again in playing mode. The day job went well I made my money and left. Back to workout and music. I realized I can do what ever I want and make money doing it. I'm going to continue to be my own boss. Shallow Accomplishment

Life Can Be Good
Well, here i sit in Denton Tx, 100 percent satisfied with my life. I have a lot of new friends who can handle being with a Cowboy and not resent it. Im working a great job, living in a motel here in town, and just generally doing really well. I guess there is still life to live after all. Things On My Mind
Getting home yesterday after a wonderful 15 days in Vegas, its funny that the 22 hour layover at Chicago O'Hare took away all the flooding nice visuals and replaced them with disdain and bitter feelings. I know that the O'Hare layover is still fresh and will be a 'flash in the pan' compared to the embedding memories & joy felt piror to my miserable time there. I know that while reflecting back to my Vegas experience, it will eventually become a side note and even a learning experience to convey to travelers. Some notable things of the lay over experience is: O'hare has the most food courts I've ever seen. (with some exceptional places to dine) With it being the largest airport in the US it's ideal for people watching ... Even while extremely fatigued and massive sleep deprivation, I found myself chucking at a particular person or an event unfolding in front of me. Wish us luck. Going to go meet with a lawyer to begin a custody battle for Beazil's son. It's a whole long story as far as the history with Beazil's ex-wife goes...but trust me...she's nuts and we need to get Beazil's son out of there. They have put her into a medical induced coma because the pain was just too much for her. She is still on the ventilator but they want to start turning it down slowly to try to get the hole in her lung to close on its own. Vacation Over!
Okay so I just got back from my long two week vacation and I specifically requested the day after I got back into town off from work. IDK what the scheduler was thinking, but I went back to work the next day. I haven't even been home for twenty-four hours and already I want to go back on vacation. It's not that I don't like my job because I do. It would just be nice to actually have a full twenty-four hours to settle in before having to jump back into the swing of things. I've been working from 3pm until 10pm every night since I've been home and after work I usually go out to a friend's house to chill and catch up on old times until 2am. I have little time to myself, unless I'm sleeping. I just wish I had some time to myself! It's not fair for me to come back from vacation just to go right back to work!

Back Home Finally
It is so good to be home. I went to NY for 2 weeks. I got home tuesday night. Mikes mom works for Delta so I was flying on a buddypass. I was supposed to leave NY Aug 9th but there was no seats available on the plane. So I waited till the 13th. I checked my bags and went through security and with a baby thats a pain in the ass in itself. I went to the gate checked in and waited. The only reason I got a seat is because a guy didn't show up. I get on the plane, put my seatbelt on and the guy next to me starts yelling at me because my daughter was in his space. He is so lucky I had to get off the plane. I had to get off because the guy decided to show up. So now I have to either wait till 3 in the afternoon for the next flight or go the 14th. It was 6 in the morning already and I was stressed so I decided to make it for the next day. I get there the next day and the same thing happens, there are no seats. Fubar Is Getting Old
I've been having a lot of trouble lately from slow response to bouncers to people who call nsfw on ridiculous things. I came on this site because I thought it was an adult site. Fubar doesn't seem to understand what adult is. An adult site doesn't require absolutes of purity and honor. So why then is any clown who wants to scream that something is offensive allowed to have things removed and the violator punished? Shouldn't there be a protest and a hearing? The Floor
Denise and I are getting ready to start on our hardwood floors again. It has been interesting so far... First, the dining room and living room floors were in pretty bad shape in our 1930’s home, so I rented a large orbital sander to remove the old finish. Lots of old finish. About 50 years worth. I had no idea how much the sanding sheets had gone up in price, so I changed them every time one started to slow down in its cutting. Over $300 worth of sandpaper later...! .... Ok, we got over that shock, bought a lambs-wool floor finish applicator and a painter’s pad (for edges) and started laying down the polyurethane. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy this went, though I still had not figured out how to get the border between the edges and corners to come out as smooth as the rest of the floor. Still, things were looking up. We finished the first coat in about an hour and a half. Over the next few hours we discovered that the oil-based finish took a LO

well we were fighting big time. still are really. what im about to say would have been no big deal if he would have been honest about it, but instead he tried to hide it which leaves me thinking there is more that i dont know about. Need Opinions - Please Advise
Just to be different....let's have a discussion. I'm having a debate with someone and I'd like some second or third or fourth opinions. There is no question that men and women can just be friends without there being something more. I have a male friend of 32 years so I can definitely state that it's possible. The question is when one or both of them get into a committed relationship, should the friendship change? For example, if the two had slept in the same bed but never had sex, would it be ok for that to continue when there is a committed relationship involved? What boundaries if any should exist? What if the significant other was jealous of the friendship? Do you give up the friendship? Do you sneak around so you can keep the friendship? A Year Ago
It's been a year ago today that I had my mild heart attack and been suffering with PVC ever sense. Wow it's been a whole year. There were times I never thought I would make it . I'm glad I have . I have chatted with some amazing people and I have also chatted with some idiots too lol. I went to my 1st and 2nd concert this year. Made some new great memories with my sons and new friends. I now have a list in my head of all the things I want to do . I'm slowly doing them one at a time. So, in the Cafe wher I work, they have a station where you can get omlets. They also have ready-made breakfast sandwiches there. I go over to get a breakfast sandwich and there are a bunch of people huddled around waiting for their omlets, which they've already ordered. But yet they all feel the need to block the sandwiches. Update On The Moving
good morning friends!! We are steadily packing around here these days. We got the contract for the house signed by the seller!! Today the home and pest inspections are taking place. So we are on GO and ready to move. Next week we'll be signing the loan papers we hope. But, of course, that depends on the inspection findings. School starts here next week so my daughter will have to start and then transfer...not what we wanted, but HEY we ARE moving!! The house here we are in now is a mess....boxes everywhere. Empty and full. I packed my son's "squishy" yesterday and will probably have to get it back out of the box today. 3 Rescue Workers Killed At Utah Mine

She thought she married her soul mate but as time went on she found thing out she did not know about her new hubby. As I sit here with a bird on my shoulder that is stealing cantaloupe from my mouth and sticking it in my hair.....I am still as happy as I can be! I had another follow up appointment today at the Casey Eye Institute. It was all good news! The iritis has completely cleared up and my eye pressures were back to normal range! This has been a long struggle to get under control. Many of you may not know this, but I have an autoimmune disease. Actually, I have two of them, Lupus and Rheumatoid arthritis. Today Sucked A**!
Well lets see I was on my way home to tennessee today and I was going through Arizona. Everything was going great I thought I was going to get to see my family. Well I was driving and my car made a loud noise and all the sudden the whole inside of the car was full of smoke. I was tring to see where I was going so I could get over to the should and yes because it's my luck there was a loud grinding noise and my car come to a complete stop. Woo Hoo Mel no longer has a transmition! Then to make matters worse I got to sit in the middle of the desert with no air conditioning or anything plus I had my dog, cat and hampster in the car with me for 6 hours waiting on a tow truck!! I have had a fabulous day!! Worse part is now I am stuck on camp pendleton until the shop that servised my car yesterday fixes it! They forgot to but something back so now I get a new trans but it's gonna be like 2 weeks till it's done!! Good times!
