Today....
I have to say that today was a pretty good day. It sucks that its just now ending at 4 something in the morning, but it was good just the same. I look like a freaking cherry, and Im hurting really bad. But I guess I had to get my one good sunburn out of the way eventually. Old Run Down Cars
Hi all, I just wanted to let you all know what has been happening with our old, falling apart, run down cars. Well it seems that the only car able to make it to the city and back, besides the truck, is falling apart. The brakes locked up on Darryl tonight when he went to get a few things at the store. So he took it all apart and it seems that the rotor is gone, that if we get new brake pads on it, they will be wasted in a short period of time, so can't drive that car, cause we don't have a replacement rotor for it! UGH! So now we have to fix the Plymouth, which is gonna be my car. Well it needs the radiator and water pump changed out on it, so Darryl gets to do that tomorrow morning, so i can at least drive it. We did a couple things to test the radiator and water pump, both are gone, but luckily we have another car here that is so much like the Plymouth, that we can swap parts and they will fit. Hey Everyone, Sorry I haven't been around much. I've had a lot going on lately and don't get much computer time. Anyway, I really need all of you to say a prayer for my little sister if you don't mind. She found out that she is pregnant. She had an ultrasound done and we still aren't sure how far along she is. Yesterday she got a phone call saying that the baby is in her uterus, but its in the wrong place. We are still trying to figure that one out.... Today she started bleeding and cramping really bad so we took her to the ER. As of right now, she is not having a miscarriage. Her cervix is closed. However, her hormone level is only like 5800. So either she is not very far along, or she is about to have a miscarriage. She goes on Monday for another ultrasound and blood work so they can check to see if her hormone level is dropping or going up, and to check the position of the baby and such. They told her that because of where the baby is, it will most likely either be an early birth

Guess its been a while since my last update. I've been feeling rather burned out lately. The only thing that catches my interest of late is playing EverQuest. Kind of funny right now that I have a bit of urge to write but gotta have the music of the game booming in my ears. Could be cause of how sick I am to that the music is soothing and giving me a bit of a push. Not much though *sighs* I had the sleep apnea test. Went fine. Kind of weird having all the wires hooked to my head via some icky pasty stuff. Didn't take me long to fall alseep either. The bed was really comfy. A Place For Everything?
Now my move is done, the labor of loading and unloading a truck is completed. My new neighbors pitched in along with an Ex GF to help with my fishtanks. (What a chore!) Moving fishtanks is NOT what I call FUN. But they weathered the 30 mile trip from Nashville to Lebanon just fine and are busy now rearranging the tank decor to suit their needs. So much for the "Fish are Stupid" saying, they seem to know they are in a new place! go figure. Anyway, now the real chore begins, puting things away in places I would need them in. Things like dishes, pots and pans are no biggie, I am talking about how to lay out a room and whatnot and then emptying the boxes out of that rooms contents. All in all, I am now tanned from being in the sun all day. My muscles have been worked out to the extreme so though I am tired as hell, I feel good and I have energy. The Moral of the story! Okay it is official, I really can't cook sweets. I wanted something sweet to eat and instead of letting my husband cook the cinimon rolls, I cooked them. Stash Images
Ok, I worked out why I couldn't get the images I uploaded to my website, and links to which I put in my stash today, to show up. Image handling in the stash in general throughout the site seems to be nicely stashersmashed. SNAFU'd. Deceased. Have to open images in a new window consistently when they work at all (when they're dead images or just Photobucket-style capped, of course they don't work.) But unless my site's administrator has put a stop on all direct/hotlinking (and I thought that links were being used throughout the stash, not direct image linking, precisely to prevent this; it's sensible to stop at one point or another in the process anyway), the trouble is probably sitewide and relatively temporary...

New Car

Well I finally received a letter in the mail saying I didn't pass the 911 Call Receiver job in Kent. Shitty. I missed it by 3 lousy points. Happy 46-month Anniversary!
I told Martha this while she was half-awake this morning after I'd just thought of it (our fourth wedding anniversary is this July 12) and she came back with, "What?" Apparently this isnt as aimportant to people as leveling or lounges or contests as noone could bother to even repost this let alone sticky when i made it a bulletin so im going to put it here to be further ignored *sigh* I wasnt going to bring it up because im not one for pulling the sympathy plea but all the animal rescue fund have made me feel the need.I had gotten a call a few months back that my first mammogram had come back "suspicious". Apparently there is a spot on my left breast that they are concerned about. I have put it off telling myself it cant be felt, its scar tissue from the breast reduction in 2003 not to worry about it. Well now it CAN be felt and i have an appointment for a second more advanced mammogram.Apparently its what they call a rolling one. they actually twist the breast tissue before squashing the piss out of it! Diet: Thin People May Be Fat Inside

Some doctors now think that the internal fat surrounding vital organs like the heart, liver or pancreas — invisible to the naked eye — could be as dangerous as the more obvious external fat that bulges underneath the skin. "Being thin doesn't automatically mean you're not fat," said Dr. Jimmy Bell, a professor of molecular imaging at Imperial College, London. Since 1994, Bell and his team have scanned nearly 800 people with MRI machines to create "fat maps" showing where people store fat. According to the data, people who maintain their weight through diet rather than exercise are likely to have major deposits of internal fat, even if they are otherwise slim. Faster-than-light Movie Take: Spider-man 3
Do film reviews really matter when Spider-Man 3 raking in billions of dollars at the box office is more certain than death, taxes and Paris Hilton being forced to pick up the soap bar in the prison shower? Alas, many fanboys are lashing out at S-M 3. They're lashing out at the bloated look of the picture. The overly-produced fight sequences. The reported $200-plus million budget. The musical numbers (not the least of which being Peter Parker going emo Saturday Night Fever in Manhattan). Too many villains. I will say this. I liked the movie. It was on par with the original, but nothing thus far will top Spider-Man 2. The action scenes were a bit too surrealistic, taking CGI to new extremes but simultaneously zapping the humanity left in these extraordinary heroes and villains.
