Ok first blog ever...Well I met the most amazing person I could ever hope to meet. Its funny how we met it all started on the 2nd of April but before I get into that you need a little back ground about the situation. Well as most of my very close friends know I was going threw some hell from October until the new year. I stayed drunk the intire time. Not a day went by that I was not drinking. Commission
Well, it has been a long time in coming. I think I started this project back in January. I took the initial hand gun training at the North Texas Shooting Academy. That training familiarized me with my 9 mm Smith and Wesson Sigma. I finished the commission training at Statewide Training Academy. This covered the laws governing Security Officers in Texas, as well as firing procedures with the Semi-Automatic. I earned a 90% on the written test, and shot a 236 out of 250 with the 9 mm. I also qualified on the 12 Gage Shotgun. So ... now I begin working on the rest of my program.

Lost Baby .
Well here i am again . I lost my granddaugher on the 12 of May . My daugher was 6 months preg . Her water broke and she ended up in hosptial 5 hours from me . She had the baby at 4 am sat morning . The baby lived all of 5 mins . She was soooooooooooooooooooo pretty and so very small . Her lungs just was not ready for this big bad world . I know she is being watch over . I lost my mother inlaw in dec and my dad 3 weeks later. So i know she is being looked after . I have to Take care of my daugher now . She will n ever ever get over this . And the same day they told her she might not be able to carry a baby to term . She will fine that out in 3 months. We have not gotten our Little ones ashes yet in a few days . The gift of words. As a teenager I used to walk a little under a mile from the bus stop to my house. We lived out there in the middle of nowhere. 1.16.2007 Warmth... I enjoy my children. I made them and I enjoy the fuck outta them. They are kick ass kids. We sing sing sing and yes we do it at the dinner table too. Random things that I love.... I love thin scratchy cheap hotel towels. I do not like thick fluffy towels. they feel wierd to my fake nails and they make me teeth itch. ...and I thought this might prove to be helpful to someone since ticks seem to really be terrible this time of the year! (A School Nurse has written the info below -- good enough to share -- And it really works!!) I had a pediatrician tell me what she believes is the best way to remove a tick. This is great, because it works in those places where it's sometimes difficult to get to with tweezers: between toes, in the middle of a head full of dark hair, etc. Apply a glob of liquid soap to a cotton ball. Cover the tick with the soap-soaked cotton ball and let it stay on the repulsive insect for a few seconds (15-20), after which the tick will come out on it's own and be stuck to the cotton ball when you lift it away. I Did It!!!
I finally did it! I passed my advancement exam and I am now an E4. I had passed the exam before but hadn't advance because there weren't many openings. I have also been doing funerals whenever the center needs me. I got in my required amount for my first Navy and Marine Corp Acheivement Metal. I will recieve that in July. So I am definately excited. It seams like my Navy career is heading in the right direction.

I had a wonderful dream last night and realized this morning, that it was my fantasy waiting to happen! It started with me coming home after a long day at work. ISSUES Knowing I need to branch out but scared to spead my wings. After all this time I now know why the caged bird sings. Unwilling to do what needs to be done unsure of what a new life will hold. Sure it would be nice to get out on my own but I've heard the world is cold. Somedays I want to get away but other days it seems like I could stay. It's just so hard to choose my mind changes day to day. I'm too young for this it isn't my job I'm not a mom I need a break. Moving Day...
Well I got the majority of my boxes all moved. Now I have the heavy stuff. Things would go much faster if I actually had help. I have come to a point in my life where my financial situation is not very healthy... I have been unemployed since April 18th... I have been fighting depression over this... Just a joke, hope you laugh hysterically as I did: The new Supermarket near my house has an automatic water mister to keep the produce fresh. Just before it goes on, you hear the sound of distant thunder and the smell of fresh rain. When you approach the milk cases, you hear cows mooing and witness the scent of fresh hay. When you approach the egg case, you hear hens cluck and cackle and the air is filled with the pleasing aroma of bacon and eggs frying. The veggie department features the smell of fresh buttered corn. I don't buy toilet paper there any more.

So, part of my philosophy on life includes trying to look at everything in it's proper perspective. And Now A Breaking Update
DADDY IS GOING TO BE OK. for the most part. it is a long road to recovery. He is off the ventilator tube and breathing strongly on his own. He just has to make it past the hurdles of avoiding pneumonia and blood clots. He is frustrated as his voice is not there yet, and I can only imagine he is a little scared. I am....tired to say the least. now that he is awake I am not at the hospital every moment since it just gets him a little worked up that he can't talk. so I give him time to rest, he is still in ICU and weak. visitation is still family only. I am still dealing with the stress, just a little less than I was. on a small happy note, I will get my net back tomorrow according the cable guy this morning. so once more I will sit for hours on end and stare at my little glowing world. oh... how I have missed it.

A Tough And Sad Day For Me...
I don't know any other words to describe how my afternoon has been! As many of you know, I am a counselor to teenagers and I try to help them with their problems. Well today, the counselor needed some counseling! Now what some of you may not know is that I am also a former paramedic who left the field in October of 2001 because of the aftershock of helping with the WTC on 9/11. The only times since leaving the field that I have been involved in helping someone needing medical attention has been if it's happened in front of me. That was the case today, when a car with four people in it flipped over in the middle of the street, right in front of the building I work in. The receptionist in my office called 911 as I went outside to see if there was anything I can do. All the people standing there were making it much harder, because they were either leaving little room to work or trying to move the injured people, which would have done more harm than good. Sick Kids
Hi all, I just got back from taking my oldest Andrew to the health department. It turns out he has strep throat!! Goodness, just some congestion, and fevers turns into something serious. He is on antibiotics and has to see the doctor next tuesday! He has had some high temps, and he has said that his throat hurt, but now he has a huge lymph node that is swollen really big and his tonsils are all inflamed, swollen, and red! So the next ten days should be fun, I just hope that he gets to feeling better, and that none of us get the strep throat. I will write more once i find out next week. Hope you all have a great week. A New Beginning
I am getting to that point again where I close myself off from the world and stop caring. Luckily enough I have done it enough to adapt to still be able to care about a few things mostly my daughter and about 2-3 friends. Nothing else I am ready to drop a match to the shop and walk away. I just turned 34 last week.....and at first I was saying ...NOOOO!!!!...then I looked in the mirror and said YESSSSSSS I did it......I made it to 34 looking great and feeling good about myself...yes I have grey hair...thats it....I have wash board abs...still in better shape then lots of guys younger and the same age as myself...I worked hard to keep in shape for years...I even got carded in a bar for my b-day I was proud to show my ID...so it is possible to look and fell young....and you have to do is....workout and eat right and have great genes...lol....cant wait to Im 40 now...lol...

Technical Problem Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. So, I was thinking today about the things I've been lucky enough to have my hands in, in the last year. A couple of jobs stick out. Last summer I was lucky enough to work as a Sous Chef at a fusion restaurant. An amazing experience that only makes me want to go to culinary school even more than I did before. It's sad that I have access to only a tiny kitchen that doesn't allow me to really use all the knowledge I learned :( That will change soon enough though! Injury To Insult
Got to OKC a LOT later than planned on Saturday... It took us nearly 17 hours! Part of that was because we had to drive the huge truck and couldn't take the toll road... But we also had to stop to get gas more, and when we stopped to get gas we found out that my car was about to fall off the trailer... Grr... My wife's fiancé and our roomie in MN put my car on there wrong... They didn't fasten the straps right and they were falling off the tires... the car was barely hanging on the trailer by the chains and not the straps... We would have noticed sooner but we couldn't even see the car in the mirrors of the truck... So I had to get all filthy and get under the car 3 times to get it hooked back up right... that was after having to take it off and check everything and put it back on... I was not a happy camper to have almost lost my car because 2 men didn't bother to ask how to do it properly or read directions... Then we finally got here and we were too tired to do much mo

Tales Of Woe In Los Angeles
So yesterday wasn't my best of days. I had a mediation yesterday starting at 11:30 a.m. in dowtown Los Angeles. From my house, that's about 20 miles and with L.A. traffic, about 45 minutes. mommas goin to be a race car driver Current mood: excited ok here's the story. On may 5 my hubby held a race in temple texas. Things went great. Towards the end of the day one of the guys that was at the event had to shut his car down due to a water leak. Well he was so pumped from makin a few passes with his car that he didnt want to watch. so he cranked up his dodge and was ready to race. At this time it appears that 93% of the Ice Caps are below sea level. Explain to me how the melting of the Ice Cap is going to flood New York. This mean temperature difference between 1907 and 2007 is .7 of one degree. 53 degrees F in 1907 and 53.7 in 2006 in the contiguous U.S.

WooHoo, Im excited! My Fantasy Baseball team has moved up into 4th place! I keep checking on them and one day they are up and the next day they are down. But They seem to be up more than down so thats a good thing. Anyway, Im proud that they are doing good because this is the first year that I have actually built my own team. I have watched & keep track of the teams in the past but wasnt brave enough to try it myself. Parental Supervision
My parents are driving about 20 hours to visit me this weekend. I'm fairly excited about this, since they haven't visited me in two years. But I'm also a bit concerned. A New Journey!
What a multitude of delights I experienced this weekend! As you know, my LLW and I traveled north to attend a meeting of rope enthusiasts. We were apprehensive at first, as we have never attended such an event. However, all of concerns and trepidations were immediately put to rest. The people were gracious, charming and welcoming. First on the agenda was a demo/workshop on energy exchange between partners. It was fascinating to watch, even for a skeptic like myself. The bond between the two people who led the exchange was unmistakable, and she truly did seem to know exactly where he was and what he was doing at any moment, even though she could not see him. A Days Beginning.....
The beginning to a day is how you wake up!! I awaken every day with coffee in hand and watch the amazing transformation of the skies. As they go from dark with twinkling stars and a bright moon within them, to blue skies and a masterful wave of color across the skies. Then the sun slowly peeks it's head over the trees and begins to once again light up the day. Wow, that is one of the most beautiful ways to begin a day!!! The rest of the day really does not matter, because if you can focus at the end of the day on all that was "good" then the "bad" seems to disappear. And once again a peaceful settlement within over comes you. It litterally takes more muscles to frown or be angry then it does to smile and be happy! So how do you wake up?
