it is 1am and can't sleep! i am so excited that in about 9 hours grant will be graduating from Basic!!!! And of coarse you now what that means.....HE WILL BE COMMING HOME!!!! Monday Is Surgery Day
I was really hoping to use my voice recognition application for this, but I was having trouble with my thoughts, and that really screws up the program. So here I am left-handed typing again. I go in for round #3 of brain cancer surgery on Monday, 9/10 (at least it's not 9/11). I'm not overly worried, really. Been there, done that, got the scar to prove it. So, why am I obsessing about it? Mostly because it SUCKS to have BRAIN CANCER at age 42. Guys my age are supposed to be having mid-life crises, not end-of-life crises. By most survival statistics, I probably won't be here this time next year. THAT SUCKS!!!!!!!!! I've got a family -- a wife and 5-yr old Chinese adopted daughter. They will be provided for by my insurance, etc., but I am the one who should be providing for them. I have a few friends and co-workers; I suppose they'll miss me. Just Feeling Lonely
Over the past week or month. I have had a lot go on in my life. Some view me as giving up, some tell me to let everyone chase me. But for whatever its worth I also have to do what is right for me. Well actually what is right for my daughter. She is my priority, my purpose in life. She is by far the best part of my life. There is know one that can tell me that if you have children you don't remember the first night you held them in your arms. Know one else will ever know the joy of how I felt the night she was born. If I never find someone to be part of my life, does it really matter. So I miss the companionship of sitting and holding someone, or just touching someone. What is your purpose in life. I just have to take one day at a time, And understand that I am just trying to do my best.

Well, it was the opening game for the Football Season. My very sweet friend/sister has went recently had to have some major dental work done. Crockpot Lasagna
INGREDIENTS: * 1 pound ground round or chuck * 1 package lasagna noodles * 1 teaspoon garlic powder * 12 ounces ricotta or cottage cheese * 12 ounces tomato paste * 12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese * 8 ounces smoked sausage, diced * 1/2 cup chopped onion * 3/4 cup water * 1 tablespoon parsley * 2 teaspoons sugar PREPARATION: Break noodles into one inch pieces and cook in boiling salted water until slightly tender. INGREDIENTS: * 1 lb. lean ground beef * 1 envelope. spaghetti sauce mix (dry mix) * 2 tbsp. instant minced onion * 8 oz. can tomato sauce * 4 1/2 c. tomato juice or V-8 * 4 oz. can mushrooms, drained * 4 oz. dry spaghetti broken into thirds PREPARATION: Brown ground beef, drain off fat, and transfer to crockpot. Combine all remaining ingredients, excrpt spaghetti, in crockpot; stir to mix well. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Turn to HIGH for last hour and add broken spaghetti Stir frequently.Or, cook spaghetti on stovetop, rinse and drain, and add to finished sauce.

someone i know from sfriends is in the hospital she takes 12 kind on medications a day and all the meds caused her to go in the hospital for a while we throught we were going to lose her she couldnt moved or eat. she was hooked to tubes and everything just laying there.i always wonder if its really nessasery for anyone to talk all them and more meds in one day. i can see the seezier meds but i dont see why all the pain killers in one dayand water pills and anti depressents i can see one or two different depressents cause i have to take three but 12 all together is beyond me i would think all they could kill someone if all the dr's dont know about the meds and side affects.

Today when I picked up my son for elementary school, I saw 3 kids (clearly under the age of 18 and carrying back packs) smoking cigarettes in front of the school's bike rack. When I asked them where did they get the cigarettes from, they said "down at the local quick store"...WTF!!! They could've been telling me the truth or making up a "spare of the moment" lie...either way I made them put out and step on their cigarettes!!! If they told me the truth, then some of these businesses clearly dont care about and/or completely ignore the smoking laws in place!!! My question is...Do you think that the laws and penalties in place aganist selling and/or promoting ciasrettes to minors are tough enough for business, big or small, to follow??? A) Yes..they are effective!!! B) No...the laws needs to be revised and the penalties need to be more severe aganist businesses and individuals who contribute to the deliquency of minors!!!

I was in the checkout lane at my local Wally world (Wal-Mart)when I saw a little chlid putting candy in his pocket while his mother wasnt looking!! My next door neighbor, Sam is a good man. Benoit 'extremely Disturbed' (he Had The Brain Of An 85 Year Old Man)
Chris Benoit's father Michael appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America" this morning and shed new light on his son's final days. Tests of Chris Benoit's brain tissue revealed that Chris had severe brain damage. The level of brain damage Chris had was equivalent to an 85-year-old Alzheimer's patient - and similar to three NFL players who committed suicide. There were abnormal protein deposits in the brain caused by trauma to Benoit's head. Chris' brain tissue was tested at the request of his father, Michael Benoit. Michael Benoit says that he agreed to have his son's brain tested because he found a recent diary his son wrote that indicated he was "extremely disturbed". Severe brain damage can lead to depression and irrational, violent behavior.

Today when I picked up my son for elementary school, I saw 3 kids (clearly under the age of 18 and carrying back packs) smoking cigarettes in front of the school's bike rack. When I asked them where did they get the cigarettes from, they said "down at the local quick store"...WTF!!! They could've been telling me the truth or making up a "spare of the moment" lie...either way I made them put out and step on their cigarettes!!! If they told me the truth, then some of these businesses clearly dont care about and/or completely ignore the smoking laws in place!!! My question is...Do you think that the laws and penalties in place aganist selling and/or promoting ciasrettes to minors are tough enough for business, big or small, to follow???

Just when I thought shit was coming together, someone I rely on goes and lets me down! You see, me and my bass-player have been rehearsing together (drummer-less) for about 8 months or so. We have been (for a while now) looking to put together a 3-piece. Recently an old drummer friend of mine,who I played in a band with for years expressed interest in the project. Getting Used To Things Again
I have been taking a lot of time getting used to the fact that I can't walk anymore. I never realized before the things you take for granted on a daily basis. Simple things are now very difficult, but I'm taking it in stride. I have done many things in my life that I regret and now feel this is probably punishment for those things. I have started working a little more, taking my business back in my own hands. One thing I can do is work, as most of my work is on the phone or online. I am working with a few different handicapped specialists to get my truck and car accessable to drive. My Story
I was born on September 20th, 1976 . When I was 6 weeks old I suffered from meningitis. I got sick and almost died. I sometimes wonder how my life would have turned out if the meningitis did not occur. Sometimes I wish I could turn back time or have some supernatural powers. Police Harassment
Ok for those of you who dont know........ I put tar on driveways, commonly called sealcoating. I was doing a driveway today on a county highway with very little shoulder room (about 5 ft wide) and my truck is 8 ft wide so naturally some of my truck was going to be in the road but still it was easily passable. 2 county officers showed up, the first one saying and I quote, "I almost fucking hit you, move your truck NOW!" I offered to move it over another 6 inches (which was all the room i had left on the shoulder), but the left side of my truck was still over the white line at which point the 2nd officer said, " move your truck completely off the road or I will fine you , put you in jail, and have your truck impounded." at that point I moved the truck to avoid the fine and loss of time on the job, but the way i was treated by those officers was flat out WRONG, my next stop was to the sheriff's dept. to file a formal complaint of my treatment. Getting There
Well, one day closer. I’m sitting in my hotel room taking a break before I head out to get some food. Today went well, briefings and stuff with the new company. Tomorrow morning I’ll get some more briefings and then take my flight in the evening for “that” place. Good stuff so far with these new people. Everyone is nice and friendly, all the paperwork that could have been filled out is…. Things are pretty good. I had a good visit with the folks and with family. I don’t know when I’ll be back in the states so I tried to enjoy it as much as possible. Spiced Chicken With Sweet Potatoes
Chicken parts are cooked with cinnamon, brown sugar, apples, and sweet potatoes. INGREDIENTS: * 3 to 4 pounds chicken pieces * 1/4 cup vegetable oil * 1/2 cup dry vermouth * 1 1/2 teaspoons salt * 1/4 teaspoon pepper * 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon * 1 tablespoon brown sugar * 2 tart apples, cored, cut in wedges * 3 sweet potatoes, cooked and sliced PREPARATION: Brown chicken pieces in a heavy skillet in hot vegetable oil. Drain off all but 1 tablespoon of the oil. Combine dry vermouth with salt, pepper, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Add vermouth mixture to chicken in skillet along with the apple wedges.Baste chicken. Cover skillet and cook over low heat for 25 minutes. Add the cooked sliced sweet potatoes and baste again with cooking liquid. Cover and simmer until heated. Serves 6.

By Tiffany Razzano Steve Lieberman is a true rocker through and through - and one of the last to have been recorded at the now defunct Downtown in Farmingdale. This live disc was recorded when he opened for the Viva La Bam show. Lieberman is all over the place, borrowing a bit from experimental rockers Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart, British punk rock, such as the Sex Pistols and even '80s hair metal, creating his own unique sound. While the recording isn't the best, his vocals are muffled much of the time, his musical prowess, his searing and playful guitar styling, shines through. He kicked off the night with Garbage Man before launching into Punkifier with its crunchy guitar, simple melody and incredibly raw, in-your-face, rock vocals. He paid homage to the Ramones, playing a medley of Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment and Blitzkrieg Bop. However, he gave the tunes more of a British punk feel. Taking Time Off (sort Of)
