Doing Soldiers Wrong
The US Military is doing a lot of things better for soldiers that are deployed. Better meals, more comfort items are available, etc. One of the things that ticks me off the most over here though is taking advantage of soldiers who are trying to contact loved ones back home. Today, I'm talking about the internet access over here. If you are one of those units lucky enough to have bought a satellite system and share the expenses, chances are you are better off than many. If you don't have this, you have to go through the internet service provided by the military. In the states these things charge anywhere from $7.95/day to plans of $54 for a month. Here in Kuwait it is $5/hour. WTF? They force out local competitors who could offer lower costs and then scalp the soldier like that. The soldier is not supposed to be a piece of additional profit. After all the things the US is doing right, it's frustrating to see something that is there blatantly taking advantage of soldiers.

Zappa Is Dead
Yesterday, September 4, 2007, my cat Zappa died of natural causes. Zappa was 18 years old, and had been battling a number of health issues over the past few years. He loved processed cheese, expensive Irish whiskey, and the occasional joint. Yes! I Lost Weight
OMG!!!! It is amazing. I lost 10 pounds this month. I have been battling my weight for the last ten years. I am not too big, but I am not at my happy weight. I do have to say it is a bad way that I lost weight, but I have had no control over that. I have been so sick lately. I have only been able to eat one meal a day and keep some of it down. As soon as I have money to go to the doctors, I am going to get it under control. But, I am so happy. I found out because I went to go put on a pair of jeans that fit but really snug, only because I wanted to show off my best ASSet. And to my surprise it wasn't snug. Oh well! My butt still looked good. I am a BBW and proud of it. Although I can't wait until I am skinny again.

Troy will be missed, that will not go away. But, we know where he is because his faith did not sway. Many cared and loved him as a great brother. I was shocked to see my cat start vomiting on Friday. I discovered I had lain down on top of his vomit after I had gotten back from paying a few bills and getting roach traps and an outlet strip from the local Home Depot. Sooo I've been sick over the past couple of weeks with mono and am finally getting better. I was under the impression that upon my return to work, I'd take it easy for a few days, then go back into full force. My Kitty Updates
Well we tuck pooh to the vet today and there wasn’t any thing really wrong with him the vet thinks he might have pulled on of the ligaments in his leg or he could have burned his pad last week when it was hella hot here so he’s on bed rest for the next 2 weeks which means that he cant go out side. And after the 2 weeks we take call and let them know if he is still limping so now it’s a wait and see thing. And he also has to go on a diet well its just not him all that cats do so its no longer the buffet style of feeding them like we do they now have to be feed a quarter of a cup 2 times a day and I know they are not going to like that but hay we need to do what the vet say cause they are fat!!

Vacations
What else are they good for besides rest and relaxation? Tying up loose strings, self reflection, and soul searching to name a few. I'm so sick of my dad's shit. He callse me a liar and says I can't do anything right all the time. I can't take living around him anymore. Something has to change something has to be done. Goodbye Summer
Well, I know that summer is coming to a close because I finally got back to working out in the morning (I get more industrious in colder weather) after an extended lapse that was initially due to a pulled muscle in my back (it's been better for at least a month and a half). I also finally resumed meditating in the morning so that should make the oncoming cold a little easier to deal with. I miss the summer already. The band is exited about the upcoming weekend. This Friday we get to open up for Cowboy Crush and Johnson County Old Settlers Day's in Olatha KS. This is looking to be the biggest gig the band and even each of the members have ever played. It's a full sized stage (40' wide) with a full professional sound system and crew. We have spent most of the last month working out the set-list. We hope to see a large turn out of our fans. One thing we have been working on for most of the year is some audience participation. I decide to water my garden. As I turn on the hose, I look over at my car and decide my car needs washing. Like a lot of folks in this state I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test, with which I have no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. What Is This Things Problem
The damn spark plugs keep fowling out... The last two times I've been out on the lake i've found myself stranded because once i turn the engine off, if refuses to put out a spark... I've lowered the oil mixture, even adjusted the amount of fuel going into the carberator (which really took away some power) and the damn thing is still fowling out the spark plugs..... Chicken Breasts With Crab Dressing
INGREDIENTS: * 8 chicken breast halves, skinned & boned * salt and pepper * 1 cup dry herb stuffing mix * 1 egg, beaten * 1 can cream of mushroom soup * 1/4 cup chopped green pepper * 1 tablespoon lemon juice * 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce * 1 teaspoon prepared mustard * 1/2 teaspoon salt * 1 can crabmeat, (6oz) picked over * 1/4 cup salad oil * 1/2 teaspoon onion powder * salt and pepper, to taste PREPARATION: Flatten chicken breasts, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix herb stuffing with egg, half or soup, green pepper, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, and crabmeat. Spoon some of the mixture onto each chicken breast, roll, secure with toothpicksSaute breasts in butter. Arrange in a greased baking dish; bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Friends Cleanup
I've cleaned out about 20 dead friends from my list which isn't too bad. Most of the people here are cool and return the rates. I even had one person ban me off their list because I mentioned that the webcam needed tweaking that was being used to take pics with because it was grainy and out of focus. I guess when I didnt offer to buy her a webcam like she asked she didnt like that...fuckem. I rated about 800 or 900 of her pics and got promises of rates on mine and never got them. Overall, I was relatively productive today. Also got my gym workout done. Of course because of the 4 day "holiday," every woman was at the gym today. My father used to write poetry when he was younger, still dabs a bit. He wrote some of the most beautiful stuff to my mother. How is it when I look at you I see all the things I want and feel. But , when I turn away and go another direction I see only vainess. How is it when I look at you I see the perfect person I want to see. But, when I walk the other direction I do not see anything that's ment to be. My heart is aching and longing for you to the point that I see and feel you in my dreams. Sometimes, I want to scream and let the birds and the sky and the world hear my pain I feel for you. This is when the darkness comsumes my every thought my soul being, and takes me to that dark place that no one can bring out of. How is it when I look at you I only want to say how I feel . Monitor Update......
So went for a check up today at the Cardiologist they took the monitor off for 2 days...but I have to wear it a week longer...They want to check the information that is on it...not sure why....but oh well...I go back to the doctor on Thursday to have it put back on...yay! I guess if it werent for bad luck I wouldnt have any luck at all. Will have more information after my appointment on Thursday. Love you guys! MUAHZ!:-)

Jitters
School starts again tomorrow, and I'm more nervous than when I started back in March-- and then I didn't even know anything about my kid! I'm starting with a small knowledge base this time, and my anxiety's acting up. At least with my last kid, he was on the very low key end of the autism spectrum, and I'd worked with kids with autism before. This little guy is completely new to me in about every aspect. He's also nonverbal, but doesn't use pictographs. If he doesn't like something, he bites and head-butts. New to me, I'm used to screaming and self-abusive behaviors. And his mom is going to be there tomorrow. I wouldn't mind so much except that being under observation is very very stressful to me. Bleh. In any case, tomorrow will be fun with 13 kids in the class, 9 of which are completely new to us. I start my classes Thursday, and Tuesday I start my training for the respit program. Should be a good time, and I turn 23 Monday :)

As I look at you I see many things. First, I see what looks back at me. I see the eyes, the color of the clear blue sea. They are big enough to get lost in. Bootsie And Lil Boots
Ok this kitten (lil boots) is determined lol Bootsie our 2 yo female cat was trying to relax on our bed and lil boots (2 month old male) decided he wanted to play with her tail. Well, bootsie was growling and pawing at him to let him know she didn't want to play. Did that stop him?....... NO lol he kept biting her tail watching her to see if she would do it again and found out she would lol this went on for like 5 min. i kid you not. Our son and I were dieing with laughter.
