Little Old Ladies
I love and respect my elders. I really do. I try to remember that these are the people who have helped me to be who I am today. But today lil old ladies have been pissing me off. I went to pick up my sleeping pills and a lil old lady had to chat up the pharmacist about shit that didn't need to be talked about. And I patentiently waited cause you know shes old. I went to Shopko and another lil old lady was in the line in front of me and had a shopping cart behind her (it was empty) and it was hers and she just left it in front of the checkout stand and I had to push it out of the way for her. I was like what the fuck!!! You push the cart all the way around the store and leave it in the way of other shoppers...what the fuck. So lil old ladies stay out of my way for the rest of the day please.

Th Old Man And The Tiger
Once there was an old monk who was traveling to a far off temple. His journey took him through the jungle. While he was walking, he heard, far in the distance a tiger. Not thinking too much of it, the old man did his best to hurry along. Some hours later, when the sound of the tiger grew closer, the monk thought it best to begin to climb uphill, hoping this would turn the tiger aside. This did not work and the monk could hear the tiger had gotten much closer. Upon reaching the to of the hill, the old monk found himself at the edge of a cliff and there was no way back down passed the tiger. Looking for a way to escape the old man looked down the side of the cliff and there he spied a branch. Twisting out along the branch was a strawberry vine and at the end of the vine the largest, reddest strawberry he had ever seen. While the growl of the tiger came ever closer, the old man climbed down to the branch, and though it creaked in weakness, the old monk crawled out to its edge.

I have absolutely no problem with Americans at all, infact some of my closest friends are American... but... why is it on the mumms, in my SB etc everyone presumes everyone on here is American?? My Day
I just had the loveliest day. My son was off from work today. He called this morning and asked how I would feel about him coming over to spend the day with me. We had a wonderful time. He did a few things around here for me, I made lunch for us, we watched some comedians on youtube together, and had stimulating conversations. So, my interview this afternoon was probably the longest interview I've ever waited for/did. Not tom ention, it's the first interview where I'm gonna have to go back a second time before the final decision. My "soon-to-be-boss" hopefully, is really awesome. Really nice guy. Ya know I never believed in that whole men and women can't be in a platonic relationship. I always though why can't they. If you're really good friends and that's all you are, then why the hell not. Funny thing is women can have platonic male friends, but men can't have platonic female friends; especially if they are married, or dating. I just find it interesting that is how it is. So I am in Iraq finally, have been for a week. I wont start my job quite yet, but soon. I find it quite humorous the timing of my last blog. It's amazing how similar to the military my relationship has become - hurry up and wait, and everything changes. The very day after the last post everything changed for me. Then it became hurry up and wait. It's exhausting. To be in a land where it is do or die, then to worry about my family back home, my battles, on top of worrying about my own life, I really did not think I had anything to worry about with my relationship. Amazing how you can go from perfectly content and happy to perfectly tormented and at witt's end. Amazing how the one time you give that trust "implicitly," it is broken with the blink of an eye. Just a real quickie.... went to the doctor this morning about my wrists... he was like YUP typical carpal tunnel syndrome. DUH I knew that....lol Well he did put BOTH wrists in braces and told me to wear them at night for sure, and as MUCH as possible during the day. He did give me a prescription for 800mg ibuprofen to help reduce some of the inflammation. He said if that don't help within a few weeks, come back in. With me not having insurance, it will be rough because he said the next step would be the nerve testing (I had that done in 98) and they would have to see where to go from there with either therapy and he said the dreaded surgery word. BLAH! Something needs to be done cuz this is starting to get out of control. and oh yeah, driving without power steering with these bitches on, SUCKS! //thats all have a great day!

Smoke-free Anniversary
Today is a very special day. This time last year, I quit smoking, so it has officially been a year! Honestly, I owe it all to Piper...I did quit before I found out that I was pregnant, but finding out that I was pregnant cemented the fact that I would no longer smoke. I honestly can't say if I would have gone back to smoking had it been for Piper, because I have quit several times, only to go back a month or two later. This is my second time quitting for a year, and I will NEVER smoke again! My daughter will make sure of that... I am having a celebration today. Contractions started up last night just like Doc said they would...we sent our youngest son to a friends house for the night just like Doc told me to do. My Husband For Feb 4, 2009
He is doing so much better ... his speech is getting better and his speech therapist said that by the middle of March he should be back to his old self again. Other than his bum knee giving him problems because of the cool weather (arthritis) you would not know he had a stroke. He still complains about his typing not being as accurate and fast it used to be but is improving.

This One Is Odd...
It's kinda choppy but strange all the same.... I've dreamt of this place before but not for years. It's some sort of fishing pier but part of a theme park. I have heard several times recently that the definition of insanity is: Doing the exact same thing over and over again, each time expecting different results. The New Rating System
Ok so Fubar decided to make speed rating impossible but they overcompensated. At the speed with which they want us to rate we'd all need to be on dialup connections. I can load the page fully, comment, look at the picture for awhile and then rate and still get it ignored. I can have the very first picture I rate ignored. I understand they want to eliminate EZ Rate pictures. There is a much simpler solution to this. Increase the minimum pixel size of pictures you upload. That will stop the small pictures from being uploaded. Combine that with a set time to rate pictures that is less then the current setting. Fubar's premise in this action is understandable and I even agree with it. I do not agree with their method. Yes I will have to work a bit harder to level up now. Oh well. But I no longer enjoy going through other pictures and rating them. I look at pictures, I comment pictures, some I stare at even, but getting ignored then having to go back to it just to rate it is annoying. A goo

ANNOUNCEMENT: It is with a heavy heart and really great memories that I'm announcing that SWEETWATERS, will be closing the doors....on February 24th, 2009 , at Noon (EST). We've had a great run and lotz of fun, made some great friends and I thank every one of you for either being a member or being staff.
