The Soup Is A Lie
So I was supposed to have dinner with some friends, and one of them was going to make it for us because we've been helping him pass his classes. He said he was going to make us his world famous soup. So I was sound asleep when my phone rang Monday morning around 9:40. The kids had no school, so I had shut off my alarm...forgetting I had a chiropractor appointment. A Special Thing Just Happen To Me
My neighbor has 3 small children and a new baby. At christmas I got them a video and popcorn, the children were so happy they just hugged me. A few days later they brought me a thank you picture and cookies. Just a few minutes ago hear a knock at the door and the 2 older children were at my door. They said their mom went outside and didn't come back so I went to look and she wasn't out there. Im going on my 3rd week of class now. I am the ONLY white person there with the exception of the instructor. One woman has been in the same mod for 3months and hasnt passed yet. Well today we took another test, I passed but I was looking at the break down of our grades and something threw me off. Our grade is broken up into 3parts. 40% class participation (homework, attendence, interaction in class) 30% test score, and the last 30% is lab work. Well, normally Im not this anal about things, but Im looking over my grade and see 31% for class participation, and it made me wonder. I do the homework (its stupid not to, Im paying for the class) I answer questions asked in class, I help the others in the class out with notes and whatnot when they're stuck and Ive yet to be late or miss a day. And 23% for lab work. Again I understand what Im doing, the instructor almost ALWAYS sends a student my way to watch what Im doing if they dont understand and the instructor is busy with another stu

KENNER, La. -- An infant just minutes old was found dead in Lake Pontchartrain on Tuesday afternoon, thrown there by a woman believed to be its mother, a police spokesman said. Kenner Police Lt. Defective Family
My sister apparently let news of my cancer slip to my father. I haven't spoken to him in 5 years. He's never met my son and always had an excuse why he couldn't visit or let us visit him. When she told him I had breast cancer and was having a mastectomy this month, she says he cried. He left 4 messages on my answering machine while I was on my cruise, and talked to my mom once when she was here cleaning my house (they divorced when I was 4). My sister is asking if she can tell him when and where I'll be so he can be there at the surgery. I don't know what to do. He wasn't there for most of my childhood, having decided seeing me wasn't worth the child support payments he had to make to keep joint support. He even went so far as to try to take my inheritance from a friend of the family that I received when I was 8, forcing my mother to put it in a low-yield trust that he couldn't touch. I'd written him off and out of my life since he chose not to meet my youngest child. *

Sometimes I feel like such a complicated person. People don't seem to understand why I do and say the things I do. Especially when I get down. Its a normal occurrence for me and people constantly try to push the matter not grasping that if you push it I will further draw myself in. I go into shutdown mode and will refuse to talk at all. School -- 1957 Vs. 2009
SCHOOL -- 1957 vs. 2009 Scenario 1: Jack goes quail hunting before school and then pulls into the school parking lot with his shotgun in his truck's gun rack. 1957 - Vice Principal comes over, looks at Jack's shotgun, goes to his car and gets his shotgun to show Jack. 2009 - School goes into lock down, FBI called, Jack hauled off to jail and never sees his truck or gun again. Wrote this a few years ago but thought I'd share it here for all of you who may wish to read. Originally written: August 4, 2006 Sharon: What is wrong with Michael? He seems to be in such a bad mood today. All day long, he's been really quiet and moping around. I first noticed this behavior during the football game on TV. Usually he's all pumped up and excited, but today, he just kinda sat there with a sad glare. After football, he played the video game. 3D Hearts Mobile More Crafts Holiday Crafts Make a mobile with strings of 3-D hearts. This is a great decoration for Valentine's Day. Supplies: Red, pink, white, purple, and other construction paper, oak tag, or gift wrap Pencil Scissors A long length of colorful yarn (thick yarn works better than thin string) Glue stick A sturdy paper plate Markers, crayons, or paint Stapler or tape Draw a spiral on a paper plate. Cut along the line. Decorate the paper plate using markers, crayons, or paint. make a few strings of 3D hearts, with 3 to 4 heart triplets on each string. You may have to make a knot under each heart to keep it from sliding down the string (if the string is too thin or if you don't use enough glue). Staple or tape a few strings of hearts to the paper plate. Attach another short length of string to the plate; it will be used to hang the mobile up. You now have a cute heart mobile for Valentine's Day.

Cross In My Pocket Craft
You will need: Scraps of plastic canvas (7 holes per inch) 1 yard of white yarn 2 yards of colored yarn (Camouflage is very popular for sending these to soldiers.) Darning needle with an eye big enough for yarn Directions: Cut the front piece 12 holes by 10 holes. Smooth off any little bumps. Cut the back piece 12 holes by 20 holes. Smooth off any little bumps. Cut the cross 3 holes wide along the vertical part and 3 holes wide along the horizontal part (see photo). Cover each piece using a stitch that slants right from the bottom over three holes. Or any stitch that you like. Save the edging for last. Cover the cross neatly with stitching. Cover the front and back, leaving the edges for last. Now start at the right front of the front piece.
